In 2022, I got the opportunity to create the panoramic view that would be seen from one of the sets in the sci-fi series "Arcadia".
Instead of using green screens, we decided to use LED screens in order to have a more natural depth of field and illumination on the set.
We created 3 different light conditions for the backgrounds:
Day
Overcast
Night
The decision of creating the backgrounds in pre-production enabled the director to shoot as many takes and angles as he desired while having consistent illumination once on the set.
